XOXOMake your Valentine's Day totally out of the ordinary!XOXO

I love Valentine's Day! I love frilly pink hearts, and romantic boxes of truffles topped with red roses as much as the next girl, but I love originality when it comes to the perfect V-Day. This Valentine's Day, break away from the over-played, cliche rituals. Have a totally awesome, and unique Valentine's Day with you sweetheart--or your girls, with these interesting ideas!

<3. Go ice-skating- the idea of gliding along the rink hand-in-hand with your man might seem cheesy, but I think it's way cute! You'll have fun falling all over the place and helping each other up, which ensures tons of laughs and close cuddling.

<3. Dance the night away! - if you're not into a lot of mushy-gushy, but still want to have a great time, dance the night away at a salsa club. (I had to put this in, I'm a dancer!) But seriously, spending time together dancing and showing off your moves is a break from the ordinary and lets your wild-side shine through. (ps. salsa clubs can get very touchy-feely, if you're going as a couple, let other people know).

<3. Go to a concert - surprise your guy with concert tickets! This is really fun, and allows you two to hold hands and sway to the music romantically, or rock out, it depends who you decide to see. If you want a chill, romantic feel, may I suggest Michael Buble or Jack Johnson?

<3. Order in Chinese food and watch old movies - this is a favorite of mine, it's so effortless, but incredibly romantic. Chilling out at home while you eat lo-mein out of the carton and watch your favorite black and white classics is cozy and intimate, and completely adorable.

<3.  Don't have a sweetheart? No worries. Party with your best friends! Don't sit at home, depressed because you're dateless, have fun! Plan a cool theme-party, go to that awesome salsa club with your girls, or chill with a low-key sleepover. Just cheer up and have a GREAT time!

Your Spring Wardrobe

Winter's final full month is upon us, and you know what that means. It's time to start planning and buying your spring wardrobe! It's best to start now- you don't want to wait until the last minute. If you procrastinate, then by the time you finally get around to going shopping, all the cute clothes will be gone and you'll be stuck wearing some old cut-off's that normally, you wouldn't be caught dead in. To avoid this- start shopping now! Here are some stores that I reccomend for your new closet-
Anthropologie- Their clothes can be pricey, but if you add a few pieces of their clothes to your collection, it'll add a nice pop to your wardrobe without emptying your wallet.
Sand Lines Tee(how cute is this top!?)
Cusp- I talked about this store in one of my other post's, so I'll just give a quick overview. It's like a neiman Marcus for teens and young adults, and their clothes, like Anthropologie's, are on the expensive side, but again, just add a few pieces that you really like from them, instead of buying everything in sight.
V-Neck Cloud Tee(I love this Vince cloud tee)
ASOS: DancingPrincess showed this store to me, and it's a fashion store from the UK that features cool, european designers. Their stuff is fairly well priced, but beware, the pricing is in European currency, so make sure to do the conversion from Euro's to dollars before you hit 'add to cart'.
ASOS Scallop Embroidered Short(the olive and beige colors in this outfit look amazing together)
When you supplement these stores with some less expensive ones, ta-da! You've got a brand new, completely adorable, affordable wardrobe!
Happy Shopping:)
