Planning the Perfect Summer Vacation

I don't know about you, but when the holiday season draws to a close, winter gets old real fast. I want to go somewhere tropical, preferably somewhere I can walk around in shorts without getting hypothermia! Seriously though, if you want to plan a great vacation for summer, start in winter. This way, you'll be motivated by the thought of warm beaches or gorgeous summer nights, and start getting your travel itinerary together:) The best way to organize all your research for your trip is to make a seperate binder or folder to hold all of the loose papers. This way, you're not scrambling around trying to look for your plane tickets or your passport the day of departure (trust me- I know a lot about this). Gather info about the place you want to visit-make sure to research important details, such as the currency or native language of the country. FYI-if you're traveling to Italy, you'll probably want to know how to speak Italian first:)

Ciao for now,

  1. Good tips. Hey head over heels for horses, when and if you ever feel like going to Italy, ask your M & D and your Aunt T will gladly take you. I've been there 3x and it is my favorite place in the world. I will be counting on your Italian. :). TLS
